Barbara Kruger Wax Sculpture Candle 2017

Measuring 12”’x9” and weighing about 5lbs, this Barbara Kruger ‘I’ll change your life’ candle is a wax sculpture object. Each letter was cast individually and carefully attached to 2 separate wax bases. I first troubleshooted assembly and production, then, cast and assembled every part of all 200+ candles. I also cast and finished a large percentage of the Bruce Weber ‘Nude Model’  Maritzio Catellan ‘Italian Plunger’ candles shown in the image at Joya Studio.
